  1. I'd love to win this anthology, I'm totally in the mood for Christmas shorts. Great giveaway! :)

On of my favorite Christmas stories is another m/m short that always pops to mind when I think of holiday romances: it's Making His List by Devon Rhodes. This was such a lovely story, especially considering its short length. It felt so well-rounded and it had it all: great characters, a well developed plot, a nice life's lesson, hot scenes, tenderness, heart aching moments, humor, emotional depth and a sweet happy ending. And best of all, it was much more than just a holiday story.

  5. Love Christmas stories! I'll go with a movie, my favorite that I have to watch during the holidays is National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, then of course the classics like Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman, etc.

  6. @Kathleen: LOL about the crying, I'm the same way! It's like crying is a quality stamp for me. I'm glad you liked Bring Me Home for Christmas, right now I'm reading her next book, Hiddin Summit, and so far so good, wait until you meet the brooding hero ;-)

@Jay: very good right? Can't wait to read your review.

@Eva's Flowers: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is one of my all time favorite movies, Christmas and in general, although the first movie is my favorite in that series... Great choice!

  7. So many stories to choose from. I think 'Mariah the Christmas Moose' may just (only just!) win because of the title.

  10. The Polar Express came out the year I had my first baby. It's been a tradition - through two more babies - ever since. We have the soundtrack in the car for the commute, too. :)

  11. My favorite holiday movie is "Ziemassvetku jampadracis" (it's in Latvian) and it tells the story of the Cirulisi, a tight knit family down on their luck, and their trials and tribulations during the Christmas season, but the love that they have for each other can triumph over anything that comes their way.
Sounds a bit corny, but it's so genuine and warm, you can't help but love it! :)

@Aija: 'tis the season to be corny, right? That sounds like a fantastic story!

Blogger likes to eat comments, so I suggest copying it before hitting "publish" just in case it doesn't go through the first time. This is a pain, I know, but it's the only solution/prevision I can think of, and it will save you the frustration of losing a comment. Also, thanks for visiting!
